Our
Concern.
Youth are facing grave moral problems. If you are
not convinced, buy any newspaper or watch any news broadcast.
Young people are plagued with an array of problems, such as:
- Violence
- Sexual promiscuity
- Substance abuse
- Apathy
- Distortions of right and wrong
- Disrespect of self and others (including
authorities)
- Poor school performance
- Loss of direction
- Cult involvement

These problems are major threats to
our youth and our society as a whole. We believe that this dilemma
is a result of the spiritual vacuum that exists among the youth of
today. We are seriously concerned about their spiritual condition;
however, we know there is hope.
The Good News...
The School District of Greenville County
now accommodates specific moral
or religious training without contradicting the current understanding
of separation of church and state. This is done through
Released-Time Christian Education--a concept that was declared constitutional
by the United States Supreme Court in 1952. We, as servants of Christ,
need only to add our love, concern, and hard work on behalf of those
who mean so much to us--our children.
