Learning Centers of Greenville County
This page is about us. But, the ministry is not about us. It's
about God. It's about Jesus. And, it's about the public school children of
Greenville County!
Christian
Learning Centers of Greenville County, the sponsoring organization of
Released-Time Christian Education in Greenville County, is a 501(c)3 organization governed
by a Board of Directors. There is a paid staff of three and more than
a
hundred dedicated volunteers.
 The leaders and volunteers of the organization
received two state honors in May, 2002 for their ministry efforts.
Then Secretary of State Jim Miles presented the group with a Distinguished Service
Award. And, the group received a commendation
from then Lt. Governor Bob Peeler for their outstanding work.
Our volunteers
are residents
of Greenville
County. They are moms, dads, businessmen, representatives of the law,
pastors, youth ministers and government officials. Their socio-economic backgrounds, races and church affiliations vary. However, they
have these important things in common:

They
love children; and,
They have a passion for sharing God's word with them.

All
volunteers have been screened by the CLC staff and
meet the necessary high standards for service. We appreciate the
selflessness of these great men and women!

Mission
Statement
We, the Board Members of Christian Learning Centers
of Greenville County, will share God's word with the children, youth and
families of Greenville County and encourage them to meet God daily through
Bible study and prayer. It is our hope that they will develop a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, mature in the unity of the faith, and
become committed church members and servants of God and mankind.
Vision
Statement
Overall, we are striving to unite our community in our service to God
and our children and to encourage and assist individuals at the state
and national levels to do the same.
